How are Nutrition Wells™ Colloidal Minerals Derived?

Nutrition Wells™ Colloidal Minerals are a combination ocean water and plant derived mixture, though chiefly from the ocean. Nutrition Wells™ starts with ocean water obtained off the northern coast of Maine several hundred meters below the surface. The deeper the water source, the cleaner, and more nutrient dense the raw source material is. This ocean water then goes through a "high tech" filtration process at the sub-micron level with advanced vacuum filtering to remove sedimentary particles. The source water is then passed through a "Special Ionization Column", followed by a second pass through a "Chromatographic Column". These parts of the extraction process remove unwanted sodium chloride, heavy metals such as lead, mercury, and cadmium, and any trace amounts of organic or petroleum by-products to produce the most pristine source material. The next proprietary step in the extraction process involves introducing the filtered trace mineral complex to a special bath of red marine algae. Over several days, an incubation effect occurs which causes the minerals to incorporate into the organic cell structure of the algae. This chelation of the minerals produces a variety of nutritional by-products and enzyme complexes. The trace mineral/algae complex is then postfiltered, evaporated and freeze-dried. The finished stock is then prepared as a fluid to mimic the colloidal nature of human blood. By producing this product in a form recognizable by the body and keeping the bioavailability (i.e. absorption and digestion) of the colloidal minerals is enhanced for the human system. Painstaking methods of evaluation and processing yield a colloidal mineral product that is very low in both heavy metals and in sodium chloride. Plant source minerals are leached from a blend of different ores. Nutrition Wells™ select the ores used based on the ores "Bioactivity". Bioactivity is measured with Brownian Movement studies and with accelerated seedling germination and growth rapidity studies. The highest degree of bioavailability is from those minerals, which are processed from plant source deposits with minimum clays and sedimentary deposits. Nutrition Wells™ plant source ore is leached with chlorinated, deionized water and citric acid in a cold temperature, gravity-fed system to maximize nutritional content. By employing this careful manufacturing process the integrity of the natural enzymes, fulvic and humic acids are maintained.
